Norrie and i spent Saturday in Edinburgh celebrating our 42nd wdding anniversary. The international festival is on and the atmosphere is wonderful... being my birthplace, i always maintain the air is special whatever!

Kirstin Papa and Gran's London Trip

We spent time in the famous Hamleys toyshop where they have 'build a bear' workshop.. we were able to personally "stuff with love" teddy bears for friends new grandchildren.. they came with own personal birth certificates .. etc.. Gran just loved it! As you can see Dopey now has a personal back carrier, roller skates and skateboard ...

Kirstin, Gran and Papa's London break!

We had two nights in London taking in High School Musical in London's Hammersmith Apollo..

a special treat for Kirstin... and us..

We shared lots of laughs ... Kirstin is great company!...

I had doubts about the show for us i must admit.. but enjoyed watching hundreds of little, and not so little kids, having such a sweet time... it was refreshingly innocent and sweet,... something rare nowadays..

Weekend in Perthshire..

The church or (more correctly Kirk) dates back to 1875 and contains slabs from Crusader graves.. with medieval sword carvings...

We stayed at the Moulin Hotel.. ..see " Pitlochry Historic Trail" on Google if you are interested in the history... "was an ancient hamlet of some 2,000 years.. The Hotel a former coaching inn established in the 16oos ..

Norrie and i had a few warm and sunny days around Pitlochry... we stayed overnight in Birnam, near Dunkeld and visited the Beatrix Potter museum and garden... the recent film / movie made the visit more personal.. then on to Pitlochry .. here are a few memories of the area..

Kirstin is staying with Gran and Papa this week .. she has morning and evening activities at her local church ... Breniann was able to join her on Monday morning.....

we are exhausted just watching the fun!
